Box Spaghetti Sauce or A Lazy Man’’s Way of Storing Angela’’s Veggies for Winter

Put 2 pounds of browned ground meat (beef, turkey, pork, sausage, whatever is hidden in your freezer) into a crock-pot.

Add 2 cans of tomato sauce, 2 cans of tomato paste, 2 tomato paste cans of water (wine can be substituted for the water), 2 onions, garlic, Italian spices.

Chop and add whatever is left over in the veggie box and the back of your refrigerator such as more onion, more garlic, zucchini, squash, okra, peppers (hot or sweet), tomatoes, basil, celery, etc.

Add Tabasco sauce and a packet or two of artificial sweetener (if using sugar add about an hour before finished cooking) according to your taste.

Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours.

Eat what you want now and freeze the rest for good memories of Angela’s vegetables.
